Description
HARRABEER COUNTRY HOUSE is a delightful family residence set in a quiet and relaxed area just on the edge of Dartmoor. Offering many of the services of a small HOTEL, is AA guest accommodation graded at 4 star and AA Gold Star Highly Commended and was an AA Landlady of the Year finalist for 2002. There is a charming master bedroom for that special treat with 5 other smaller, but equally appealing, ensuite bedrooms. Breakfast and dinner are served in the attractive dining room overlooking the pretty little garden. But why not sit in the gracious sitting room or enjoy a convivial drink at the bar where a fire burns on cooler evenings.
SELF-CATERING is available in recently purpose-renovated barn. There are 2 well-equipped suites available in the tasteful barn conversion. Each comprise of a twin/double bedroom ensuite, a living room area with a double put-u-up settee, table and chairs and kitchenette. Guests are welcome to eat in our restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and to use the bar and other in house facilities, if they wish.

SITTING ROOM:Relax in the gracious sitting room, enjoy the open fire that burns in the bar on cooler evenings (restaurant and residential license) or sitting in the small, pretty, secluded garden when warmer is idyllic!
LOCATION:well placed for outdoor activities on and around Dartmoor with a host of interesting places to visit such including many National trust properties, The Garden House and The Eden Project. Our lovely market town of Tavistock, winner of this years "Market Town of the Year" award, is only a very short drive away and yet we are only 9 miles from the city of Plymouth with it's shopping, nightlife and culture.
