For something memorable, THE NEW INN COLEFORD is a charming thirteenth century, thatched Free House with a generous car park, nestling in a Conservation Hamlet in the
Devon Heartland between Exmoor and Dartmoor and with easy access to the Coasts. Nearby there is golf, fishing, horseriding and lots of walks, including the Two Moors Way.
there are lots of National Trust Properies and Gardens and it is still only 30 mins drive from Exeter and all the city amenities.
We pride ourselves on a warm and welcoming ambience and personal service. Our 3 chefs create contemporary dishes and puddings from locally sourced produce, seven days a week - and at sensible prices! In summertime eat 'al fresco' in our beautiful Garden under a huge weeping willow tree alongside the Stream - or in the paved courtyard under the striped awning- which is lit at night with 'curtains' of twinkling lights!
In winter, the Inn is cosy inside with a roaring log fire and candlelight. Our Cellar and Bar is well stocked with Westcountry Ales, Ciders and Organic Juices and lots of keenly priced Wines available by the glass and by the bottle.
Our six, 4-stari, en-suite rooms are spacious and stylish with individual decor and fluffy white bathsheets. The rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, CD playing clock radios, flatscreen televisions with DVD and Ipod facilities and direct dial telephones.
