Description
A delightful barn conversion situated on the gentle slopes of South Dartmoor in the National Park. We can be found in the tiny farming hamlet of Scoriton, just three miles from the A38 Devon Expressway and famous Buckfast Abbey. 25 miles between Exeter and Plymouth. we are secluded but not isolated having the village inn, The Tradesman`s Arms just a three minute walk down the lane, where a good selection of meals and snacks, fine wines and local ales are provided every day. The barn sits in its own grounds of five acres which consists of mature gardens, cider apple orchard and pastureland. where the cows graze who give you your morning milk and the hens live who provide you with fresh organic eggs for breakfast. All our produce is locally sourced and organic as far as possible. You will find several spots in the garden to relax in the morning or evening sun and it also affords a pretty view of the village and surrounding countryside. All rooms are ground floor and there is free offroad parking and safe storage for bicycles.

We are an excellent stop for walkers on the TWO MOORS WAY, being one good days walk from Ivybridge and directly on the path. For tourists in cars we are central for visiting, Plymouth, Exeter, Tavistock. Totnes and The English Riviera towns of Torquay, Paignton and Babbacombe. The beautiful villages of the South Hams, Eden Project, Lost gardens of Heligan and Lands End are well worth a day trip.
